Where we started
Tuntush Agro was founded in 1999 by a single family working four hundred acres, convinced that farming could be profitable without wearing out the land it depended on. What began as a modest cooperative grew, harvest by harvest, into a trusted supplier for local markets — and then, as our reputation for consistency and quality spread, into an exporter serving buyers well beyond our borders.
The turning points along the way were rarely about size. Our first cold-chain packhouse taught us that trust is built in the details of temperature and timing. Bringing satellite agronomy to our fields taught us that data and tradition work best together, not apart. And every certification we earned, from GlobalG.A.P. to our carbon-negative status, reflected a decision made a decade earlier to build for the long term rather than the next season alone.
Today Tuntush Agro stewards estates, packhouses and research farms across the continent, and stands behind more than twelve thousand partner farmers. Yet every decision in the business still starts with the same question our founders asked at the very beginning: will the land be better next season?
